Bio
Gregory Hodges was born and raised playing guitar around the Upstate. At the age of 21 left town and went on the road traveling with Col. Bruce Hampton and the Code Talkers. After being on the road for 3 years he found a home in New Orleans, LA where he got a chance to play and work with a lot of his Musical Hero’s (George Porter, Art Neville, Hubert Sumlin, Aaron Neville, Lenny Kravitz, Charlie Musselwhite, John Mayall, Dr. John, Tom Jones, Lee Oskar, just to name a few)
After living in New Orleans for 6 years Gregory moved back to the upstate area to be closer to family and has started his own band under the name "The Gregory Hodges Band" which features Tez Sherard on drums (Edwin McCain) Frank Willkie on Bass (Marshall Tucker, Gypsy Soul) Aaron Bowen on Keys (Craig Sorrells Project).
